It detaches itself from him, it acquires an autonomous life, becomes a personality, an independent subject, animated with a spiritual breath, the living subject of a real existence of being. The studio ritual is alchemical, a moment where the artist, their process, materials, and tools transcend the physical and unite to become something wholly new, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. “Ritual Magic” is a collection of artists whose work dances with enchantment and process, carving a space in the world with their new sense of authenticity. |
